Yoebe Hollestelle
Yoebe Hollestelle is a Dutch guitarist emerging as one of the most promising young talents in the rock and fusion scene. Originally from Bergen op Zoom, he began playing guitar at an early age and quickly developed a distinctive style defined by both technical precision and musical depth.
At just 14 years old, Yoebe performed at the Sena Performers European Guitar Awards (2018), the event where guitar legend Joe Satriani was honored. This early milestone marked the beginning of his presence on larger stages and within the professional music circuit.
He later continued his development at the High School for Music & Dance in Rotterdam, before being admitted to Codarts (Rotterdam Conservatory), where he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Pop Guitar and is currently pursuing his Master’s.
Beyond his academic background, Yoebe has built extensive live experience across a range of projects. He has performed with Romanza Brava (the former band of Herman Brood), plays in his own fusion-oriented project YOEBE, and is involved in acts such as Tales of Toto and G30. His work has taken him to stages in the Netherlands and abroad, including performances in Paris.
Known for his expressive playing and versatility, Yoebe blends influences from rock, fusion, and contemporary instrumental music into a sound that is both modern and personal.
With the release of his debut instrumental single “Clouds” on 40 Lions Records, Yoebe Hollestelle takes his first official step as a solo artist, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his musical journey.

New release coming up!
Frederike Music
40 Lions Records is proud to announce the upcoming release of a brand new single by Frederike Music — a fresh standalone release following the critically praised album TEN.
While TEN was recently highlighted in NTB (2027) as “a pleasant album to listen to, radiating positivity, perseverance, and creativity,” the new single continues to build on that artistic foundation while exploring a distinct, individual direction outside the album.
Frederike Music is known for its unique collective approach, where the identity of the project extends beyond a single front figure. With Frederike Schonis (vocals), Albert van Dorssen (piano), and Juan van Emmerloot (drums) at its core — supported by an extended network of musicians — the group consistently blends musical sophistication with warmth and accessibility.
The NTB review of TEN described their sound as a fusion of US West Coast influences, hints of Zero 7, and the sophistication of Steely Dan, enriched with jazz and soul elements and an unmistakably uplifting energy.
This new single carries that same spirit of creativity and positivity, while standing firmly on its own as a next step in the ongoing evolution of Frederike Music.
